Fran Pisciotta Baker (1968)
Fran Baker is the Executive Director of Enrichment at the Gold Crown Foundation.
Fran oversees the day-to-day operations of Gold Crown, including daytime junior high
classes and the after school Computer Clubhouse. Under her guidance, Gold Crown has
grown from one art class of 12 students to more than 500 Computer Clubhouse members
and hundreds of middle school students. Fran is also responsible for fundraising and
development. She spent many years teaching reading to elementary students at Deane
Elementary in Jefferson County. After teaching, Fran spent time as a community
activist for various children's causes before designing, implementing and supervising
the Gold Crown Foundation Enrichment Programs. She studied at NYU in New York and has
great experience as a teaching mentor. Fran Baker is a champion for those in need and
because of her efforts has made this world a better place.
